John-Paul Ghobrial is Associate Professor of Early Modern History at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of Balliol College. His main fields of interest are the history of communication, the social and cultural history of Eastern Christianity, and the history exchanges between Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the early modern period. |
